Christensen commits to University of Nebraska-Omaha
The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce that captain Justice Christensen has committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha starting in the 2026-27 season.
“I am proud to announce my commitment to play NCAA Division 1 hockey and grateful for the opportunity to further my hockey career in Omaha,” Christensen said. “Huge thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way.”
Through 62 regular season games in 2024-25, Christensen has set a new career high in goals with 22, which leads the league among defencemen. His 44 points are just one shy of his career high set last season. His +17 rating leads the team this season, as he is set to smash his previous best +/- rating of -5.
In 194 career games, the Red Deer, AB product has scored 37 goals and added 61 assists for 98 points to go along with 208 penalty minutes.
The Raiders kick off a three game Alberta road trip on Wednesday night in Lethbridge as they take on the Hurricanes. Puck drops at 7pm.
