SETTING IT UP:

Prince Albert (9-8-3-0) continued to roll on Saturday night, picking up their first shutout win of the season, beating the Regina Pats 5-0. Brayden Dube scored twice, while Max Hildebrand recorded his third career shutout, stopping all 35 shots he faced.

A PERFECT RECORD:

Saturday’s game against the Pats marked the return of the Lake Country Cobra Chickens. The win against Regina improved the Cobra Chickens to 2-0 all time, after beating the Saskatoon Blades in their debut in 2023-24.

BOY OH BOYCHUK:

Riley Boychuk scored his first Western Hockey League goal on Saturday night. In the third period, he took a pass from Luke Moroz and found the back of the net, scoring in his 16th WHL game.

HILTY IS HOT:

Max Hildebrand has been on a tear over his last four games, posting a 3-0-1-0 record and a .958 SV% in that stretch. He now has the fifth best SV% in the WHL at .910%.
