Raider Training Camp Starts Wednesday
Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – Over 80 players are expected to attend the Prince Albert Raiders Western Hockey League Training Camp when it starts Wednesday at the Art Hauser Centre. Registration, orientation and fitness testing will occur Wednesday with the players hitting the ice Thursday, concluding with the Annual Green and Gold Game Sunday at 1:30 PM.
It will be the first training camp for Raider Head Coach Bruno Campese and Assistant Craig Bedard. Campese was Coach of the Year in the British Columbia Junior Hockey League’s Interior Division last season while with the Penticton Vee’s. Bedard was Campese’s assistant coach in Penticton.
All training camp sessions are free and open to the public. The annual Green and Gold Game admission is $5 and will feature the top 40 players from the camp.
