Noah Boyko named AMBHL WHL March Prospect of the Month
Calgary, AB – The Western Hockey League is proud to announce the AMBHL WHL Prospect of the Month Award, presented to the most outstanding player in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League (AMBHL) each month of the 2016/17 season.
The WHL is pleased to announce forward Noah Boyko of the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers as the AMBHL WHL Prospect of the Month for the month of March.
Boyko helped lead the Rangers to a dominant month of February, as they paced their way to an AMBHL and Provincial Championship, helping them advance to the 2017 Western Bantam Championships in Warman, SK. Boyko finished tied for second in AMBHL playoff scoring, with 7 goals and 18 points through 14 games.
The highlight of the month for Boyko came when he scored the game winning goal for Fort Saskatchewan in a 2-1 victory over Lethbridge on March 22nd to win the Alberta Provincial Championship.
At the Western Bantams, Boyko finished third in tournament scoring, with 6 goals and 10 points through 5 games.
