The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce a new community partnership with the Mosaic Company for the 2022-23 season: Goals For Food!
This program is designed to enhance food security for at-risk populations in the Regina area.
Goals for Food will see Mosaic donate $250 for each home goal that the Pats score this season. Funds will then be distributed to a collection of food-focused charities operating in the Regina area.
At the Pats regular season finale on March 25, 2023, Mosaic was proud to present a cheque for $36,000 to the four Regina-area charities: the Regina Food Bank, REACH, Chile For Children and Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.
Mosaic ran a similar program in Moose Jaw in partnership with the WHL’s Moose Jaw Warriors.
Mosaic Saves for Hunger initiative in support of REACH raised over $40,000 during the 2021-22 season!
For every save made by a Regina goaltender during the regular season, Mosaic donated $25 to REACH.
REACH provides a hand up not a hand out by supporting at risk families to provide healthy food for their children. In addition, REACH helps seniors to stay in their homes by providing healthy food to the door and teaches at risk children and families the skills to eat healthy.
