PREVIEW: Pats Play Final Game Of Homestand On Brandt Night
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats cap off their six game homestand with Brandt Night as the club hosts the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday at 7pm inside the Brandt Centre.
A crucial two points are on the line tonight as the Pats trail the Raiders by seven points in the Eastern Conference. The Pats are 14-20-4-2 with 34 points, currently sitting in 10th in the East while the Raiders are 19-18-0-3 with 41 points which is eighth in the East.

The Regina Pats are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Giants on Friday inside the Brandt Centre. The Pats went down after one and came within one twice, trailing 2-1 and 3-2 at different points in the game.
Braxton Whitehead scored twice while Zach Moore and Tanner Howe each tallied two assists as the Pats top line combined for six points. The final shots were 30-27 for the Pats. Kelton Pyne made 23 saves in the loss. The Pats went 0-2 on their power play and 2-3 on their penalty kill.
The Prince Albert Raiders are coming off a 4-3 shootout win over the Victoria Royals on Friday, as the Raiders had a 3-1 lead after two before allowing two goals in the third. Oil Chenier, Sloan Stanick (1G-1A) and Justice Christensen (1G-1A) scored for the Raiders while Max Hildebrand made 28 saves. Niall Crocker tallied two assists. The final shots were 31-29 for the Royals. The Royals were 0-2 on their power play and 2-3 on their penalty kill.
The Raiders are 2-0-0-1 over their last three games with both victories in a shootout. In fact, they’ve competed in three straight shootouts, gathering points in three straight games. Prior to their last three games, the Raiders had lost their previous four contests.
