WHATS HAPPENING
There’s plenty going on tonight beyond the action on the ice! Fans can stick around after the final buzzer for Autograph Alley, where select Pats players will be signing autographs on the concourse. Don’t miss your chance to meet your favourites and grab a signature or photo.
During the first intermission, head over to the Kids Zone for a special Alumni Meet & Greet, featuring former Regina Pats players chatting with fans, posing for photos, and sharing memories from their time in blue and white.
PREVIEW
The Pats come into tonight’s matchup riding momentum, having won back-to-back home games and seven of their last 11 overall (7-3-0-1). After a slow start to the season, the Blue and White have climbed to seventh in the Eastern Conference with 18 points, outscoring opponents 51–41 during that stretch.
In their most recent outing, the Pats delivered their most dominant performance of the season, routing the Swift Current Broncos 7–1 on Sunday afternoon. Ruslan Karimov (1G–2A) and Zach Lansard (2G–1A) led the way offensively with three-point games, while Keets Fawcett, Reese Hamilton, Ephram McNutt, and Dayce Derkatch each chipped in with multi-point efforts. Goaltender Marek Schlenker turned aside 21 shots for his sixth win of the season as the Pats went 2-for-4 on the power play and a perfect 2-for-2 on the penalty kill.
The Tigers, meanwhile, have struggled out of the gate in November, entering tonight’s contest winless in four (0-2-1-1). The reigning champions began the month with back-to-back losses to Edmonton and Tri-City before dropping contests this past weekend to Edmonton in a shootout and Brandon, 7-4 on Saturday. Medicine Hat lifted their 2025 WHL Championship banner last season after an impressive playoff run, going 16-2 en route to the Ed Chynoweth Cup, defeating the Spokane Chiefs in five games before falling to the London Knights in the Memorial Cup Final.
The Tigers still remain a fast, deep and skilled group with three NHL Draft picks — Bryce Pickford (Montreal Canadiens), Niilopekka Muhonen (Dallas Stars), and Veeti Väisänen (Utah Mammoth). In addition, Medicine Hat continues to be a hotbed for future NHL talent, with nine players currently ranked for the 2026 NHL Draft, reflecting the club’s strong developmental pipeline.
Tonight marks the second of four meetings between the two clubs this season. The Tigers took the opener 5–2 back on September 20 at Co-op Place. Historically, the Pats have had a tough time against Medicine Hat, going 6-20-0-1 over the past 11 seasons. However, they’ve played the Tigers tighter at home, splitting their last four matchups at the Brandt Centre.
WHO TO WATCH
After a bounce-back start to his 2025–26 campaign, Hamilton has emerged as one of the WHL’s most reliable two-way defenders. The Whitewood, Sask. product ranks tied for third among all league defencemen with a +14 rating and has chipped in offensively with 15 points (3G–12A) in 19 games. Hamilton enters tonight with points in back-to-back contests (1G–2A) and continues to log heavy minutes in all situations.
Meanwhile, Zach Lansard is in the midst of a breakout season, already surpassing his previous career high with 10 goals. The St. Anne, Man. native has points in seven straight games (5G–8A) for a total of 13 during that stretch. He’s coming off a career-best three-point performance (2G–1A) in the Pats’ 7–1 victory over Swift Current and continues to be a key offensive catalyst on Regina’s top line.
COMING UP
Following tonight’s contest, the Pats wrap up their homestand on Saturday, November 15, against the Moose Jaw Warriors before heading south for a six-game, 11-night U.S. Division road swing that begins November 19 in Spokane.
