PREVIEW: Pats Look To Bounce Back In Seattle
Kent, WA. – The Regina Pats play the third game of their six game U.S. road trip on Tuesday when they take on the Seattle Thunderbirds with drop set for 7:05 PST / 9:05 CST at the accesso ShoWare Center.

The Regina Pats come into today’s game with a 21-31-4-2 record and 48 points which is nine points back of the eighth seed with 10 games left in the season.
The Pats have dropped the first two games of their U.S. road trip, falling 5-2 on Friday at Spokane and 5-3 on Saturday at Tri-City. Saturday’s tilt was a back-and-forth game with things staying a one goal game until an empty netter late in the third. Nine different Pats players got on the scoresheet, and Kelton Pyne made 28 saves.
Tye Spencer scored for a third straight game, Brayden Barnett scored in his 100th career contest and Sam Oremba became the third Pats player this season to reach 20 goals. The shots were even 33-33. The Pats went 1-4 on their power play and 3-3 on their penalty kill.
The Seattle Thunderbirds are 20-24-2-0 with 42 points which is tied for ninth in the West with the Kamloops Blazers. The Thunderbirds are 11 points out of a playoff spot with 12 games left in the season.
The Thunderbirds are coming off a 3-2 shootout win over the Kamloops Blazers on Sunday, snapping their three game losing-streak. Simon Lovsin and Nico Myatovic scored for Seattle in regulation while Myatovic and Braeden Cootes scored in the shootout. Scott Ratzlaff made 19 saves in the win. The shots were 39-21 for the Thunderbirds. Kamloops was 2-4 on their power play while Seattle was 0-3 on their power play.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Pats take on the Thunderbirds in Kent, WA for the first time since January 17, 2020 when Seattle defeated Regina 4-2. The last time the Pats played the T-Birds was January 6, 2023, falling 6-0 at the Brandt Centre. The Thunderbirds have won their last four meetings against the Pats since the 2017-18 season.
