PREVIEW: Pats Host Tigers On Hockey Is For Everyone Night
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats host the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Pats only Tuesday home game of the season, with puck drop set for 7:00 p.m., inside the Brandt Centre.
Tonight’s game is Hockey is for everyone night, as there will be a ceremonial puck drop and a special video played prior to the game.

The Pats are 20-26-4-2 with 46 points which is 10th in the East and five points out of playoff spot with 16 games left in the season. The Tigers are 31-17-3-1 with 66 points and are second in the East.
The Pats are coming off a 9-4 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings on Saturday night. 12 different players got on the scoresheet, helping the Pats to a season-high nine goals, marking the first time that the club has scored nine goals in a game since November 26, 2022 at Victoria (W, 9-5).
Sam Oremba (2G-2A) Cole Temple (2G-1A), Tye Spencer (1G-2A) and Braxton Whitehead (3A) led the way with three point efforts. Ewan Huet made 25 saves for his 11th victory, and wins in three straight starts. The shots were 35-29 for the Pats, outshooting their opponent for the 15th time this season. The Pats went 3-6 on their power play and 5-5 on their penalty kill.
The Pats have now won their last two games and are 3-2 in the month of February. This month, the Pats have outscored their opponents 23-to-21, with their power play operating at 28% and their penalty kill at 85%. The Pats have also won 54% of their faceoffs.
Meanwhile, the Medicine Hat Tigers are coming off a 5-4 overtime win over the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday, bouncing back from a 6-2 loss on Friday to the Calgary Hitmen at the Saddledome. On Saturday, Bogdans Hodass (1G-1A) scored the overtime winner while Gavin McKenna (1G-1A), Hayden Harsanyi, Andrew Basha and Tomas Mrsic rounded out the scoring. Oasiz Wiesblatt tallied three assists and Zach Zahara made 18 saves for his second straight win. The Tigers outshot the Rebels 44-22. Medicine Hat was 1-5 on their power play and 0-2 on their penalty kill.
The Tigers are now 2-3 over their last five games in the month of February, outscored 20-to-16 during that time. That comes after finishing January with a 7-3-1-1 record (59GF-41GA).
