PREVIEW: Pats Head To Brandon To Battle Wheat Kings
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats finish their stretch of five straight games on the road today when they take on the Brandon Wheat Kings at 7:00 p.m., inside Westoba Place.
The Pats come into today’s action with a 10-14-1-1 record with 22 points, sitting 10th in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Brandon Wheat Kings come in 11-11-4-1 with 27 points, tied for sixth in the East.

Tonight is the eve of the Pats 2023 Teddy Bear Toss game presented by Global as they take on the Swift Current Broncos at 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 2.
The Regina Pats come into tonight’s action on a five game losing-streak and eight straight losses on the road despite a couple performances where the group played well on their recent road trip. The Pats are coming off a 3-2 loss on Saturday to the Red Deer Rebels which wrapped up their three game Alberta road trip.
The Pats opened the scoring early in the contest, but allowed three straight Rebels goals. Brayden Barnett and Sam Oremba scored for the Pats while Kelton Pyne made 35 saves in the loss. The final shots were 38-25 for Red Deer. The Pats went 0-2 on their power play and 3-4 on their penalty kill.
Meanwhile, the Brandon Wheat Kings are coming off their own road trip as the club returns home after four games away from Brandon where they went 2-2. They are coming off a 3-1 win over the Prince Albert Raiders on Sunday in Prince Albert. Jayden Wiens scored twice, Nolan Flamand tallied two assists and Dominik Petr found the back of the net. The final shots were 31-26 for Brandon. The Wheat Kings went 1-2 on their power play while the Raiders went 0-2 on their man-advantage.
The Wheat Kings are 6-3-2-0 at home this season and have gone 4-1-1 over their last six home contests.
