Pats Trade Herman To Saskatoon For Seventh Round Pick
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats have traded 2005-born defenceman Carter Herman to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 2026 seventh round pick.
“With Corbin Vaughan returning from suspension tomorrow, and Bridgeman returning from injury next week, we are at eight defencemen, and want to carry seven,” Regina Pats VP, Hockey Operations & GM Alan Millar said. “This is a good opportunity for Carter in Saskatoon. We thank him for his time with our hockey club, and wish him the best.”
Herman, 18, recorded no points in 11 games with the Pats this season. The Swift Current, Sask. product appeared in 38 career games with the Pats over parts of two seasons with the club (0G-1A). The 6-foot-3, 191 lb. left-shot defenceman was drafted by the Pats in the fourth round (71st overall) of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.
The Regina Pats organization would like to thank Carter for his contributions to the community and team over the last two seasons.
