Pats sign five prospects: Henry, Nicolay, Leonard, Dunn and Rollason commit to Pats
Regina, Sask. – Last week, the Regina Pats Hockey Club announced the signings of five prospects, inking 2025 first round pick Logan Henry and 2025 second round selections Cruz Nicolay and Charlie Leonard. In addition, the Pats secured Ryder Dunn and Shea Rollason.
Henry, 15, was selected 23rd overall in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft after recording 51 points (32G-19A) in 31 games with Burnaby Winter Club’s U15 Prep program in 2024-25. The 5-foot-10, 187 lb. left-shot forward from Prince George, B.C., picked up 10 points (4G-6A) in five games at the John Reid Memorial tournament.

Nicolay, 15, is a 6-foot, 168 lb. left-shot defenceman who tallied 32 points (12G-20A) in 34 games with the Red Deer Rebels U15 AAA Club in 2024-25, winning an AEHL U15 Championship, as well as being named to the AEHL U15 Second All-Star Team. The St. Albert, Alta. product also picked up eight points (3G-5A) in five games at the John Reid Memorial Tournament. Nicolay was selected with the 27th overall pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.

Leonard, 15, took home a lot of hardware during the 2024-25 season as the Calgary, Alta. product was named to the CSSHL U15 Second All-Star Team (BC), as well as to the John Reid Memorial Second All-Star Team, recording 34 points (7G-27A) in 34 games with Delta Hockey Academy U15 Prep. The 6-foot-1, 192 lb. left-shot defenceman helped Delta’s U15 program win a U15 Championship. Leonard was selected with the 46th overall pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.

Dunn, 16, picked up 17 points (6G-11A) in 35 games with Delta Hockey Academy U18 Prep in 2024-25, as well as six points (2G-4A) in five playoff games. The Richmond, BC product was a CSSHL U15 First Team All-Star (BC) in 2023-24, recording 30 points (13G-17A) in 26 games with Delta’s U15 program. The Pats selected the 6-foot, 209 lb. left-shot defenceman in the seventh round of the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.

We’re excited about his future with our Hockey Club.”
Rollason, 16, led the Winnipeg Bruins U18 AAA team in goals, assists and points in 2024-25, recording 66 points (29G-37A) in 47 games. The Winnipeg, Man. product ranked eighth in league scoring and tied for eighth in goals. The 6-foot-1, 185 lb. right-shot forward was acquired by the Pats from the Everett Silvertips along with a second-round pick on January 9 for Zackary Shantz.
