Pats Begin Home-and-Home With Wheat Kings
Brandon, Man. – The Regina Pats begin the first game of a home-and-home against the Brandon Wheat Kings at 4pm inside Westoba Place.
The Pats come in with a 9-8-1 record with 20 points, good for sixth in the Eastern Conference Standings. The Wheat Kings enter 7-7-4-1 with 19 points, sitting tied for seventh in the East.

The Regina Pats are coming off a 2-1 shootout loss to the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday at home, dropping their second straight game. The Pats did get a point most importantly thanks to an impressive performance from Ewan Huet, who made 38 saves.
Jaxsin Vaughan scored the tying goal early in the third for his second marker of the season, forcing extra-time. The final shots were 40-27 for the Blades. The Pats finished 5-6 on their penalty kill and 0-4 on their power play.
Meanwhile, the Brandon Wheat Kings have dropped their last three games (0-1-2-0), as they are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors on the road on Thursday night.
Carter Klippenstein, Brett Hyland and Nolan Flamand scored for the Wheat Kings while Carson Bjarnason made 37 saves. Brandon trailed after each period, but tied it early in the third with Flamand finding the back of the net for his first in 14 contests. The final shots were 42-30 for the Warriors. The Wheat Kings went 0-3 on their power play and 2-4 on their penalty kill.

The Regina Pats are back home tomorrow at 4pm when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings in the second last home game in the month of November. Tomorrow will also be Connor Bedard Bobblehead Night, presented by Westridge Construction.
The exclusive Connor Bedard Bobblehead will go on sale when the doors open at the Brandt Centre at 3pm on Sunday, November 12. Bobbleheads will be sold for $10.00 on the Northeast side of the concourse. Sales will be limited to one bobblehead per person and there is a limited quantity, so be sure to get to the Brandt Centre early.
