After the game, donate your boxes to Edmonton’s Food Bank. Fans can also bring any non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank as well.
Edmonton’s Food Bank serves more than 43,000 people per month.
There’s also a team signed jersey that is up for raffle at the game, with tickets starting at just $5! 100% of proceeds go to Edmonton’s Food Bank.
On the ice, the Oil Kings and Pats meet for the first of four meetings this season, with the Oil Kings looking to break out of a three-game losing skid. They’re currently 1-2-1-0 on the season and will look to start the month of October in the win column. However, forward Aaron Obobaifo will look to remain hot heading into this month as he’s notched five points in four games so far. Dating back to the 2026 playoffs, and end of the regular season, Obobaifo has points in nine of his last 10 games, scoring eight goals and four assists for 12 points in that stretch.
Their opponents, the Pats, come into tonight’s game 1-1-0-1 and are averaging four goals for per-game. Regina’s special teams have also been hot to star the season with the powerplay at 40% and their penalty kill at 91.7%.
Last season, the two clubs met four times with Edmonton holding a 1-2-1-0 record. Three of the four games were decided by just one goal. Oil Kings forward Dylan Dean was a leader offensively in the season series with three points in four games.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for tonight’s game at Rogers Place and great tickets are still available starting at just $20 at oilkings.ca.
