Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes are coming off an exciting week in which they split a head to head series with the Medicine Hat Tigers, welcomed over five thousand to the ENMAX Centre and kicked off the 2007-2008 season in style. This week the Canes will have a busy three game weekend to prepare for which will include their first trip all the way up Highway 2 to take on the Edmonton Oil Kings.rrrFriday, Sept.28 РGAME NIGHT РLethbridge vs. Kootenay rMcDonald’s McSkills Night РThe Lethbridge Hurricanes will play their first regular season match up against their Central Division rivals; the Kootenay Ice, on this night. Kootenay’s last visit to Lethbridge was a September 12th preseason date which saw the Canes claim a 2-1 win. Finnish goaltender Juha Metsola racked up his first WHL complete game, making 27 saves on 28 shots for the navy and red. Last season the ‘Canes notched a record of 3-5-0-0 against the Ice while adding to their all time record of 39-37-6-1-0.
