Mascot Night takes over ENMAX Ce

Lethbridge, AB – Hurricane fans will be in for a treat on Friday for Kelloggs Mascot Night! Ushers will be distributing Hurricanes towels to the first 1,500 fans through the doors. Not only will they be treated to an exciting Canes game but they will also get to see 14 different mascots including Twister and Fat Cat! The mascots will be on the concourse throughout the first and second period. They then will be taking to the ice during the second period intermission for a game of hockey, where Team Twister will take on Team Tony the Tiger. Ushers will be distributing Kelloggs products to fans as they leave the game.

rThe hometown boys will be looking for their third win in a row after beating Moose Jaw (6-2) and Prince Albert (4-3) on the road this past week. The Canes will be feeding off momentum from their big win against PA as they head into the weekend. The Canes were able to score two goals with 32 seconds remaining in the third period, taking the game into overtime, and then won the game in a shootout.

rLethbridge has played two games so far this season against Swift Current; the series is split with each team taking a win. The Canes will be looking to redeem themselves after their last lock up against the Broncos. The Canes suffered a 6-0 loss on January 3rd; Michael Tadjdeh and Brandon Anderson split time between the pipes. Last year the Broncos held the better end of the record against the Canes taking three of the four possible wins.
