Canes visit Pincher Creek

Lethbridge, AB – ENMAX Energy in partnership with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Pincher Creek Minor Hockey Association were pleased to bring “Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy” to Pincher Creek. Ben Wright, Mitch Versteeg, Drew Hoff, Eric Mestery, Dwight King, Colton Sceviour and Craig Orfino made the trip out to Pincher Creek to assist local coaches at practice on Tuesday night.

This grassroots program gave local Atom players (ages 9 to 10) the opportunity to participate in a fun and educational evening of skills, drills, and shinny with players from the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The event proved to be a huge success and helped raise nearly $4,000 for the Pincher Creek Minor Hockey Association.

This season, ENMAX Energy Corporation’s popular children’s hockey program will visit 16 communities throughout Alberta, providing young Alberta hockey players with the opportunity to skate alongside WHL or NHL hockey celebrities.
