Canes lose in Med Hat, prepare f
Medicine Hat, AB – Zach Boychuk scored a shorthanded goal in the third period but it was too little too late as the Canes would go on to lose 4-1 to the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Gas City on Monday Night. Juha Metsola made 21 saves on 25 shots as the Canes record dropped to 9-9-0-1. The Hurricanes are now at .500 for the first time in the 2008-2009 campaign but still have 4 to 5 games in hand on the rest of the Central Division.

rLethbridge will look to trun things around as they play Spokane in the sixth game of their seven game road swing in a rematch of the 2008 WHL Championship.
