PRE-SEASON GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Rebels
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will play their first of two home ENMAX Pre-Season games tonight as they welcome the Red Deer Rebels to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.
The Hurricanes (0-1-0-0) were handed a 3-2 loss last night by the Rebels in their pre-season opener. Rylan Thiessen and Alex Thacker scored the goals in the losing cause for the Hurricanes while goaltender Bryan Thomson made 30 saves in the defeat.
The Rebels (1-1-0-0) earned their first win of the pre-season with the victory Friday night. Josh Tarzwell scored twice in the victory, including the game-winning goal, while Brett Davis added the other. Ethan Anders split time with Eric Ward in the win; Anders allowed two goals on 15 shots faced while Ward stopped all 13 shots he faced in the game.
Tonight will be the second and final meeting of the pre-season between the Hurricanes and Rebels. Tickets for the game will be just $10.00 and can be purchased at the door.
