PLAYOFF GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Rebels in Decisive Game 7
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes and Red Deer Rebels will tangle in a winner-take-all seventh game tonight at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.
The Hurricanes have forced a Game 7 after trailing the best-of-seven series three games to one. The ‘Canes earning a 5-3 victory in Game 5 on Saturday before following it up with a 4-1 win in Game 6 in Red Deer on Sunday. Ryan Vandervlis, Alec Baer, Tyler Wong and Jadon Joseph all scored in the Game 6 win while Stuart Skinner made 33 saves.
The Rebels, who failed to score on the power play for the first time in the series, jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Michael Spacek but couldn’t contain the Hurricanes attack to close out the series on home ice.

PLAYOFF SERIES: Tonight will be Game 7 of the best-of-seven series between the Hurricanes and the Rebels. The Rebels led the series 3-1, but the ‘Canes have stormed back to tie things at three. It’s the first meeting between the Hurricanes and Rebels in the post-season since 2002 and the fifth time all-time.
