WHL Suits Up With Don Cherry: The Lethbridge Hurricanes will be hosting their “Don Cherry Night” this coming Friday when they welcome the Calgary Hitmen. The ‘Canes will be wearing special Don Cherry jerseys that will be available for auction with all proceeds being donated to the Canadian Kidney Foundation. As well, the first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a Don Cherry Bobblehead! Fans are also encouraged to dress up like Don Cherry for the game!
B93 Halloween Howler: Sunday the Hurricanes will host the annual B93 Halloween Howler when the ‘Canes face the Seattle Thunderbirds. There will be a haunted house open from 5:00pm until puck drop, during intermissions and during the post-game skate with the Hurricanes players. In addition, there will be trick-or-treating stations for kids and prizes for the best costumes, so wear your best!
Unused Season Ticket Exchange: Wednesday night, the ‘Canes will be holding their first Unused Season Ticket Exchange of the season! A fee of $3.00 will be applied with the use of any unused season tickets for the game!
Socktober: The Hurricanes, in partnership with A-Win Insurance, will be collecting socks, mittens, gloves and toques of all sizes for the Socktober fundraiser. All donations will be delivered to the local AAWEAR Group for distribution to our homeless and street aware population.
Next Home Game: The Hurricanes will be back at home Wednesday, October 25th when they welcome the Regina Pats at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm. Ticket are available online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.

Friday, October 20th – 6-4 Loss vs. Swift Current Broncos: The Hurricanes began a season-long seven game home-stand on Friday with a 6-4 loss to the Broncos. Jordy Bellerive scored twice in the loss while Zane Franklin and Dylan Cozens added the others. Reece Klassen made his first appearance as a Hurricanes in relief of starter Stuart Skinner.
Sunday, October 22nd – 7-2 Win vs. Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes bounced back on Sunday with a big 7-2 win over the Tigers to snap a two-game home losing streak. Zane Franklin scored his first WHL hat-trick in the game while Dylan Cozens, Ryan Vandervlis, Brady Pouteau and Egor Zudilov scored the others. Stuart Skinner made 35 saves in the victory.

Wednesday, October 25th, 7:00pm vs. Regina Pats: The Hurricanes continue their season long home-stand when they welcome the Regina Pats to the ENMAX Centre. It will be the first of four meetings on the season between the two and the first meeting since the Eastern Conference Championship Series.
Friday, October 27th, 7:00pm vs. Calgary Hitmen: The Hurricanes will host their Don Cherry Night on Friday against the Calgary Hitmen. The ‘Canes will wear special Don Cherry jerseys that will be available on an online auction. ‘Canes are 1-0-0-0 against Calgary this season.
Sunday, October 29th, 6:00pm vs. Seattle Thunderbirds: The ‘Canes will welcome the defending WHL Champion Seattle Thunderbirds in their lone meeting this season. It will also be the Halloween Howler at the ENMAX Centre. ‘Canes dropped the only meeting against the T-birds last year.

Sweet-16: The Hurricanes 16-year-old Dylan Cozens has racked up 11 points (6g-5a) in 10 games this season. Cozens, who was drafted 19th overall in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft, has 20 points (10g-10a) in 25 career games, regular season and playoffs combined.
Eight Straight: Hurricanes defenseman Calen Addison is riding a career long eight game point scoring streak. The 17-year-old defensemen has collected 12 points (2g-10a) on the eight game scoring streak.
Canada Calls: Hockey Canada announced that Dylan Cozens will represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge while the WHL announced Stuart Skinner will suit up for Team WHL in the 2017 CIBC Canada Russia Series.
