Schedule Change: The Hurricanes would like to advise that there has been an error in printing in some of the team promotional schedules, as well as the season ticket booklets. The Hurricanes will host the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday, December 6th at 7:00pm – NOT on Tuesday, December 5th.
Home Away From Home: Browns Socialhouse in Lethbridge is once again your “Home Away From Home” for the 2017-2018 season. Every time the Hurricanes are on the road, head to Browns on either the South or West side to enjoy the ‘Canes game on the big screen!

Friday, October 13th – 4-3 Loss vs. Everett Silvertips: The Hurricanes suffered their first home loss on Friday as they dropped a 4-3 decision to the Silvertips at the ENMAX Centre. Jordy Bellerive scored twice and added an assist in the loss. Giorgio Estephan potted two assists in the loss.
Sunday, October 15th – 3-1 Win at Calgary Hitmen: The Hurricanes pulled back to five-hundred on the season as they improved to 4-4-0-0 on the year with a 3-1 victory in Calgary over the Hitmen. Jordy Bellerive scored the game winning goal while Giorgio Estephan and Zane Franklin added the others. Stuart Skinner stopped 30 of 31 shots he faced in the game.

Friday, October 20th, 7:00pm vs. Swift Current Broncos: The Hurricanes begin a season long seven game home stand on Friday as they welcome the East leading Swift Current Broncos at the ENMAX Centre. The ‘Canes are 0-1-0-0 against the Broncos this season after a 6-2 loss in Swift Current last week.
Sunday, October 22nd, 6:00pm vs. Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes continue their home stand as they welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers at 6:00pm at ENMAX Centre in the third meeting of the season. The ‘Canes and Tigers split opening weekend with the home team winning both contests.

Season Long: The Hurricanes begin a season-long seven game home stand this Friday when they welcome the Swift Current Broncos. The ‘Canes are 3-1-0-0 on home ice this season and 56-16-2-2 over the last three seasons.
15×250: On October 13th, Giorgio Estephan became the 15th player in franchise history to register his 250th career point with the Hurricanes. Estephan earned it on an assist on a Jordy Bellerive goal against the Prince Albert Raiders.
Special Teams: The Hurricanes power play and penalty kill have been excellent to start the season. After the weekend, the ‘Canes boast the second best power play (36.1%) in the WHL. The ‘Canes also have the second best penalty kill (85.7%) in the league.
