GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Rebels
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to the ENMAX Centre tonight at 7:00pm as they entertain the Red Deer Rebels.
The Hurricanes (1-0-0-1) earned three out of four points on opening weekend against the Medicine Hat Tigers. The ‘Canes earned a 3-1 victory last Saturday at the Canalta Centre as Alex Cotton, Noah Boyko and Oliver Okuliar scored in the win. Bryan Thomson earned the victory making 32 saves.
The Rebels (0-2-0-0) started the season with a pair of losses against the Edmonton Oil Kings last weekend. Red Deer is coming off a 4-1 loss on Sunday in Edmonton. Chris Douglas scored the lone goal while Ethan Anders made 28 saves in the defeat.

LAST GAME: 3-1 Loss at Medicine Hat Tigers: The Lethbridge Hurricanes earned a 3-1 win on Saturday against the Tigers in Medicine Hat. Alex Cotton, Noah Boyko and Oliver Okuliar scored in the victory while Bryan Thomson made 32 saves and was named the game’s first star.
VS. REBELS: Tonight will be the first of six head-to-head meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Rebels. The two teams split a pair of games in the 2019 Pre-Season with the home team winning both games. Lethbridge has posted a 20-4-1-1 record in the last 26 regular season meetings dating back to February of 2015.
