GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit WHL-Leading Blades
Saskatoon, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes open a four-game road trip tonight at 6:00pm MT as they visit the Saskatoon Blades at SaskTel Centre.
The Hurricanes (24-20-3-0) enter having earned a 6-0 victory on Saturday over the Calgary Hitmen at the ENMAX Centre. Sean Tschigerl netted his fourth career hat-trick while Miguel Marques, Brayden Edwards and Tristen Doyle added the others. Harrison Meneghin made 25-saves for his third shutout of the season. Lethbridge improved to 3-1-0-0 in their last four games as they enter tonight with a 9-13-0-0 record on the road this season.
The Blades (36-9-2-3) enter with points in eight straight games after earning a 3-1 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday. Egor Sidorov scored twice while Vaughn Watterodt added the other in the win; Evan Gardner made 33-saves in the victory. Saskatoon enters tonight with a WHL-best 21-1-1-0 record at home this season.

Career-High: Hurricanes goaltender Harrison Meneghin reached the 20-win plateau for the first time in his career with a 6-1 win over the Regina Pats on January 26th surpassing his previous high of 19 victories set in 2022-2023. NHL Ink: Hurricanes defenceman Noah Chadwick signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on December 22nd. The Saskatoon, SK, product was a sixth-round (185th overall) selection by the Leafs in the 2023 NHL Draft. He became the first ‘Cane since Dylan Cozens (BUF) to sign an ELC deal.
