GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Warriors in Saturday Clash
Moose Jaw, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin a two-game road trip tonight as they visit the Moose Jaw Warriors at 7:00pm at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
The Hurricanes (3-4-0-0) were handed a 4-1 loss on Wednesday at the ENMAX Centre to the Winnipeg ICE. Cole Shepard scored the lone goal in the loss while Harrison Meneghin made 29-saves in the defeat. Lethbridge has posted a 1-3-0-0 record in their last four games and are 1-3-0-0 away from home this season.
The Warriors (4-4-0-0) were downed 4-2 by the Red Deer Rebels on Friday night. Jagger Firkus and Eric Alarie scored in the loss while Connor Ungar made 35-saves against his former team in the setback. Moose Jaw enters on two-game losing streak and are 3-2-0-0 at home this season.
Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Warriors. Last year, Lethbridge posted a 4-2-0-0 record against Moose Jaw, including a 2-1-0-0 record on the road.
