GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Rebels For Second Time
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will make their second of four visits to Red Deer tonight at 7:00pm to face the Rebels at Peavey Mart Centrium.
The Hurricanes (8-4-1-0) enter after suffering their first regulation loss of the season at home on Friday falling 5-3 to the Calgary Hitmen at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. Logan Wormald, Landen Ward and Miguel Marques scored in the loss while Brady Smith made 36-saves. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 1-3-0-0 record on the road this season having lost their last three road contests.
The Rebels (7-5-1-0) enter having not played since a 5-3 loss in Lethbridge last Saturday. Ollie Josephson, Hunter Mayo and Jhett Larson scored in the loss while Chase Wutzke made 25-saves. Red Deer enters tonight with a 5-2-1-0 record at home this season having gone 2-2-0-0 in their last four on home ice.
Tonight will be the third of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Rebels; Lethbridge has posted a 2-0-0-0 record having earned a 2-1 overtime win in Red Deer in September. The game can be streamed on WHL Live, watched at Browns Socialhouse in Lethbridge or heard on 106.7 ROCK.
