GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Pats in Road Trip Finale
Regina, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end a four-game East Division road trip tonight at 5:00pm MT when they visit the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre.
The Hurricanes (37-19-2-2) enter on a four-game point streak after suffering a 4-3 shootout loss on Friday in Brandon to the Wheat Kings. Kash Andresen, Brayden Edwards and Leo Braillard scored in the loss while Jackson Unger made 21-saves. Lethbridge outshot Brandon 41-24 in the game. The ‘Canes enter tonight with a 16-13-1-2 record on the road this season having gone 13-3-1-1 in their last 18 away from home. Lethbridge is 17-4-0-1 against East Division opponents this year.
The Pats (11-41-4-2) enter on a two-game losing streak after dropping a 2-0 shutout loss on Friday at home against the Medicine Hat Tigers. It marked the seventh time this season the Pats were shutout in a game, and the second-straight defeat in which they failed to produce a goal. Regina enters with a 2-7-1-0 record in their last ten games as they hold an 8-17-1-2 record on home ice this season. The Pats have gone 3-15-2-0 against Central Division opponents.

300 Club: On February 2nd in Calgary, Brayden Yager reached the 300-point mark in his WHL career with his fourth career hat-trick. The Winnipeg Jets prospect became the 170th player in WHL history to reach the 300-point plateau having amassed 323 points (128g-195a) in 258 career games. He is the third highest scoring active player in the WHL trailing Andrew Cristall and Riley Heidt. His 323 points ranks him tied for 115th all-time in WHL scoring with Phil Huber and Curt Fraser.
