GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Cougars in Final Game of Road Trip
Prince George, BC – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end a season-long seven-game road trip tonight at 8:00pm MT as they visit the Prince George Cougars at the CN Centre.
The Hurricanes (8-16-0-1) enter after suffering a 6-3 loss to the Vancouver Giants on Wednesday at the Langley Events Centre. Kai Anderson, Kade Duell and Owen Berge scored for the ‘Canes while Leif Oaten made 37-saves in the loss. The ‘Canes were outshot 43-26 in the contest. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 3-3-0-0 record in the first six games of their seven-game trip while sitting with a 5-4-0-0 record in their last nine games. The ‘Canes are 5-9-0-0 on the road this season.
The Cougars (14-7-0-0) enter on a three-game winning streak after a 3-2 win over the Kamloops Blazers last Friday at the CN Centre. Cole Hajt, Terik Parascak and Aiden Foster scored int he win while Joshua Ravensbergen made 21-saves. Prince George sits first in the BC Division and second in the Western Conference. The Cougars are 7-4-0-0 on home ice this season.
Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and the Cougars; Lethbridge earned a 7-3 victory in the lone matchup against Prince George last season. The game can be streamed on Victory+, watched at Browns Socialhouse in Lethbridge or heard on 106.7 ROCK.

VS. COUGARS: Tonight will be the first and only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Cougars. Last year, Lethbridge earned a 7-3 win over Prince George at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. The ‘Canes have posted a 2-1-0-0 record in their previous three meetings against the Cougars. The Hurricanes have posted an all-time record of 35-30-0-2 with one tie against the Cougars franchise while having posted a 28-24-0-2 record since their relocation to Prince George for the 1994-1995 season. Big Trade: On November 9th, the Hurricanes acquired 2006-born forward Kayden Longley, prospect Grayson Bauer along with five draft picks including a conditional first-round pick in 2026 from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for overage forward Shane Smith and the WHL rights to 2007-born import forward Vojtech Cihar. He became the first Hurricane to record a seven-point game since Mitch Fadden had seven points in a victory against the Red Deer Rebels on March 17th, 2007. Cozens finished two points off the Hurricanes record of nine points held by Jason Ruff and Corey Lyons. He was the 11th player in ‘Canes history to record seven-or-more points in a game. The Whitehorse, Yukon product has recorded 30 points (14g-16a) in 24 games this season.
