GAME DAY: Hurricanes Return Home; Host Oil Kings
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return home to the ENMAX Centre tonight at 7:00pm when they welcome the Edmonton Oil Kings.
The Hurricanes (42-17-4-3) enter on a six game winning streak after earning a come-from-behind 5-4 overtime victory in Saskatoon and Saturday night. The ‘Canes swept a five game road trip with wins in Kootenay, Regina, Brandon, Prince Albert and Saskatoon. The Hurricanes are 22-2-1-1 in their last 26 games entering play tonight.
The Oil Kings (20-40-4-1) enter on an eight game losing streak after being handed a 4-3 loss to the Swift Current Broncos on Sunday at Rogers Place. Edmonton has posted a 2-23-1-0 record in their last 26 games. Oil Kings currently sit 10th in the Eastern Conference standings with 45 points.
Tonight is the final of six meetings on the season between the ‘Canes and Oil Kings. Lethbridge has posted a 4-1-0-0 record against Edmonton this season.
