GAME DAY: Hurricanes Pitstop at Home to Host McKenna and Tigers
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return home for one game as they welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight at 7:00pm at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
The Hurricanes (8-5-1-0) enter on a two-game losing streak after suffering a 5-4 defeat in Red Deer to the Rebels on Saturday. Miguel Marques, Noah Chadwick, Gavin Lesiuk and Brayden Edwards scored in the loss while Koen Cleaver made 30-save. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 7-1-1-0 record at home this season while having posted a 3-4-0-0 record against Central Division opponents this season.
The Tigers (9-7-0-0) enter having their three-game winning streak end on Saturday with a 3-0 loss in Brandon to the Wheat Kings. Former Hurricanes netminder Harrison Meneghin made 35-saves in the contest while the Tigers allowed two empty-net goals in the game. Brandon outshot Medicine Hat 38-33 in the game. The Tigers enter with a 3-4-0-0 record on the road this year.
Tonight will be the first of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Tigers; Lethbridge posted a 5-3-1-0 record in nine contests last year.
