GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look to Keep Win Streak Alive in Vancouver
Langley, BC – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their five-game BC Division road trip tonight at 8:00pm MT as they visit the Vancouver Giants at the Langley Events Centre.
The Hurricanes (11-8-2-0) enter on a two-game winning streak after opening their road trip with an 8-3 win over the Victoria Royals on Friday. Brayden Edwards scored three times while Kooper Gizowski, Tyson Zimmer, Noah Chadwick, Miguel Marques and Logan Wormald added the others in a season-high eight goals. Harrison Meneghin made 25-saves in his eighth-straight start. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 5-5-0-0 road record having won their last two road games.
The Giants (8-12-1-0) enter after dropping a 5-0 decision to the Prince George Cougars on Friday at home. It was the third-straight game for the Giants against the Cougars and the second time in those three games Vancouver was shutout by a 5-0 score. Brett Mirwald made 26-saves in the defeat. Vancouver enters play tonight with a 6-4-1-0 home record on the season.
Tonight will be the lone meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Giants while it will be the ‘Canes first visit to Vancouver since November 17th, 2019. The game can be streamed on WHL Live, watched at Browns Socialhouse in Lethbridge or heard on 106.7 ROCK.

VS. GIANTS: Tonight will be the first-and-only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Giants. Last year, Lethbridge suffered a 4-3 shootout loss against Vancouver at the ENMAX Centre. The Hurricanes have posted an all-time record of 12-21-4-3 with two ties against the Giants. Lethbridge is 6-11-1-0 with one tie all-time in Vancouver while going 2-1-0-0 all-time at the Langley Events Centre.
