GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look for First Win Against Wheat Kings this Season
Brandon, MB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes make their final trip to Westoba Place tonight at 6:00pm MT to face the Brandon Wheat Kings.
The Hurricanes (24-22-3-0) enter on a two-game losing streak after falling 3-0 in Prince Albert to the Raiders on Wednesday. It marked the fifth shutout loss for the ‘Canes this season while it was their third shutout defeat in their last four road games. Lethbridge has lost four straight road games while sitting with a 9-15-0-0 record on the road this season. The Hurricanes have posted a 3-9-1-0 record this season against East Division teams.
The Wheat Kings (25-19-5-1) have posted a 5-4-1-0 record in their last ten games and are coming off a 7-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings on Wednesday. Dominik Petr, Nolan Flamand and Rylen Roesrma all had three-point efforts in the victory. Brandon enters tonight with a 18-7-2-0 record at home this season.

Career-High: Hurricanes goaltender Harrison Meneghin reached the 20-win plateau for the first time in his career with a 6-1 win over the Regina Pats on January 26th surpassing his previous high of 19 victories set in 2022-2023. NHL Ink: Hurricanes defenceman Noah Chadwick signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on December 22nd.
