GAME DAY: Hurricanes Kick Off Homestand Against Rebels
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin a six-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Red Deer Rebels to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.
The Hurricanes (25-15-4-4) were handed 3-0 loss on Sunday in Portland against the Winterhawks to wrap up a three-in-three US Division road trip. The ‘Canes posted a 2-2-0-0 record on a four-game road trip with wins in Red Deer and Seattle. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 13-7-0-3 record at home this season and sit fourth in the Central Division.
The Rebels (28-16-2-1) sit second in the Central Division, just one point better than the Hurricanes, and are coming off a 4-0 loss on Wednesday against the Brandon Wheat Kings at The Centrium. Red Deer has posted a 6-3-0-1 record in their last ten games while winning five straight away from home.
Tonight will be the fifth of six meetings on the season between the ‘Canes and Rebels; Lethbridge has posted a 2-1-0-1 record in the four games prior.
