GAME DAY: Hurricanes Kick of Three-Straight Against Tigers
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will open a stretch of three-straight games against the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight at 7:00pm at Co-op Place.
The Hurricanes (27-17-3-2) had their three-game winning streak end on Friday with a 3-2 loss to the Regina Pats at the ENMAX Centre. Tyson Laventure and Logan Wormald scored in the defeat while Bryan Thomson made 22-saves. Lethbridge had their six-game home point streak end with the loss. The Hurricanes enter tonight with a record of 5-2-3-0 in their last ten games and are 12-9-2-0 on the road.
The Tigers (19-21-7-1) enter on a six-game point streak having gone 4-0-2-0 in their last six outings. Medicine Hat is coming off a come-from-behind 6-4 win in Regina against the Pats last Sunday. The Tigers scored four goals in the third period en route to the victory. Medicine Hat has posted an 8-10-3-1 record at home this season.
Tonight will be the sixth of eight meetings on the meeting between the Hurricanes and Tigers; Lethbridge has posted a 4-1-0-0 record against Medicine Hat this season having won the last four meetings.
