GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Wheat Kings For Final Time
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a six-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings at 7:00pm at VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
The Hurricanes (39-19-2-2) enter on a six-game point streak after earning a 7-4 victory over the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday. Trae Johnson (2g-1a) and Caden Price (1g-2a) each had three points in the game while Brayden Yager, Tristen Doyle, Shane Smith and Brayden Edwards scored in the win; Koen Cleaver made 37-saves in the win. Lethbridge enters with a 22-6-1-0 record at home this season while having posted an 18-4-0-1 record against East Division opponents.
The Wheat Kings (33-20-4-3) enter with a 6-4-0-0 record in their last ten games after earning a 3-2 victory in Edmonton against the Oil Kings at Rogers Place. Nolan Flamand, Jordan Gavin and Caleb Hadland scored in the win while Carson Bjarnason made 38-saves. Brandon enters with a 17-12-0-1 record on the road this year while having gone 9-9-0-0 against the Central Division.
