GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Warriors in Final Regular Season Home Game
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre in the final regular season home game and on Awards and Jersey’s Off Our Backs night.
The Hurricanes (31-30-4-1) enter on a five-game point streak after improving their record to 4-0-1-0 in that span with a 5-1 victory last Saturday at home against the Calgary Hitmen. Jett Jones scored twice, including the game-winner, while Tristen Doyle, Joe Arntsen and Liekit Reichle scored the others. Bryan Thomson made 21-saves in the victory. Lethbridge has won three-straight home games and are 17-13-2-1 at the ENMAX Centre this season.
The Warriors (37-23-3-3) enter on a three-game point streak going 2-0-1-0 in that span including back-to-back victories over the Brandon Wheat Kings. Moose Jaw was last in action on Tuesday when they earned a 5-2 win in Brandon. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win while Carl Tetachuk made 29-saves in the contest. The Warriors enter tonight with a 14-14-2-2 record on the road this season.
Tonight will be the final of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Warriors; Lethbridge has posted a 3-2-0-0 record this season having won the last three head-to-head meetings.
