GAME DAY: Hurricanes Head to Edmonton for Final of 3-in-3
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will wrap up a three-in-three weekend tonight at 5:00pm as they visit the Edmonton Oil Kings at Rogers Place.
The Hurricanes (23-11-4-4) are coming off a 3-2 victory last night at the ENMAX Centre over the Kootenay Ice. Logan Barlage, Dylan Cozens and Jordy Bellerive scored in the win while Carl Tetachuk made 29 saves in the victory. The win improved the ‘Canes record to 14-3-2-2 in their last 21 games.
The Oil Kings (!) earned a 2-1 overtime win last night over the Medicine Hat Tigers at the Canalta Centre. David Kope scored in regulation while Vince Loschiavo scored the overtime winner. Dylan Myskiw made 20 saves in the victory as Edmonton earned their second straight victory.
Tonight will be the final off six head-to-head meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Oil Kings. The ‘Canes are 2-3-0-0 in five games this season.
