GAME DAY: Hurricanes Face Wheat Kings in Remembrance Day Tilt
Brandon, MB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end a three-game road trip on Monday afternoon as they visit the Brandon Wheat Kings at 1:30pm MT at Westoba Place.
The Hurricanes (11-5-1-0) enter on a three-game winning streak after earning a 3-2 win on Sunday over the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre. Miguel Marques, Brayden Edwards and Logan Wormald scored in the win while Brady Smith made 19-saves. Lethbridge’s three-game win streak matches a season long streak while they enter 3-4-0-0 on the road this year. The ‘Canes are one point shy of the Eastern Conference lead.
The Wheat Kings (9-4-2-1) enter on a seven-game point streak having gone 5-0-2-0 in that span, but are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday. Dominik Petr scored twice while Marcus Nguyen and Caleb Hadland added the others in the loss that saw Brandon give up four third period goals. The Wheat Kings enter today with a 6-1-2-1 record at home.
