GAME DAY: Hurricanes Entertain Oil Kings
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes play the third of a four-game homestand tonight at 7:00pm as they welcome the Edmonton Oil Kings to the ENMAX Centre.
The Hurricanes (7-10-1-0) enter after a 3-2 overtime loss on Wednesday to the Regina Pats. Noah Boyko and Logan Wormald scored in the loss while Bryan Thomson made 32-saves. The ‘Canes have earned points in three of their last four games going 2-1-1-0 in that span. Lethbridge is 5-3-1-0 this year on home ice.
The Oil Kings (15-3-2-1) are riding a seven-game winning streak entering tonight after a 5-3 win on Wednesday against the Red Deer Rebels. Jalen Luypen scored twice while Carson Golder, Dylan Guenther and Josh Williams also scored in the contest. Edmonton enters tonight with a 5-2-2-1 record away from home this season.
Tonight will be the fourth meeting of the season between the ‘Canes and Oil Kings; Edmonton has won the previous three games.
