GAME DAY: Hurricanes End Road Trip in Moose Jaw
Regina, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end a season-long seven-game road trip tonight at 6:00pm MT as they visit the Moose Jaw Warriors at Mosaic Place.
The Hurricanes (23-27-3-1) enter on a three game losing streak having been downed 4-3 on Friday in Regina to the Pats. Justin Hall, Jett Jones and Nolan Bentham scored in the defeat while Bryan Thomson made 18-saves. The ‘Canes enter tonight with a 2-3-1-0 record in the first six games of this trip and are 10-17-1-0 away from home this season.
The Warriors (32-19-3-2) are coming off a 5-2 victory last night over the Calgary Hitmen for their second straight win. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win while Carl Tetachuk made 22-saves for his 25th victory of the season. Moose Jaw enters tonight with an impressive 20-8-1-1 record at home this year, which is the third most home victories this season in the WHL.
Tonight will be the fifth of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Warriors; Lethbridge has posted a 2-2-0-0 record against Moose Jaw having won the last two meetings by a single goal.
