GAME DAY: Hurricanes End Regular Season in Medicine Hat Against Tigers
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end the regular season tonight at 7:00pm as they visit the Medicine Hat Tigers at Co-op Place.
The Hurricanes (42-20-3-2) enter after ending a two-game losing streak on Friday with a 4-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. Brayden Edwards scored twice while Kash Andresen and Leo Braillard added the others; Jackson Unger made 23-saves in the win. Lethbridge ended the season with a 25-7-2-0 record at home. The ‘Canes enter tonight with a 17-13-1-2 road record this season.
The Tigers (45-17-3-1) enter on an eight-game winning streak after earning a 7-3 victory over the Red Deer Rebels last Saturday. Gavin McKenna and Oasiz Wiesblatt combined to score six goals and totaled 12 points in the win; Tanner Molendyk scored the other goal in the win while Harrison Meneghin made 28-saves. Medicine Hat enters tonight with a 24-7-2-0 record on home ice this season.
