GAME DAY: Hurricanes Continue Homestand Against Raiders
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Prince Albert Raiders tonight at 7:00pm at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
The Hurricanes (40-19-2-2) enter on a three-game winning streak after a 3-1 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday. Logan Wormald led all scorers with a goal and two assists while Brayden Edwards and Caden Price scored the other goals in the win; Jackson Unger made 24-saves. The ‘Canes enter tonight with a 23-6-1-0 record on home and have collected points in seven-straight games.
The Raiders (34-22-5-1) enter on a two-game losing streak after back-to-back losses to the Saskatoon Blades. Prince Albert fell 4-1 to Saskatoon on Saturday in their last outing. Oli Chenier scored the lone goal in the loss while Max Hildebrand made 36-saves. The Raiders enter tonight with a 15-13-1-1 on the road this season, but are 1-3-2-0 in their last six games overall.
Tonight will be the final of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Raiders; Lethbridge has posted a 2-1-0-0 record against Prince Albert this year. VS. RAIDERS: Tonight will be the final of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Raiders. It’s just the eighth time in the ‘Canes 38-seasons in Lethbridge that they’ve earned 40+ wins and the first time since 2018-2019.
