GAME DAY: Hurricanes Complete 3-in-3 in Edmonton
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes complete a three-in-three weekend on today as they travel to face the Edmonton Oil Kings at ROGERS Place at 4:00pm.
The Hurricanes (12-13-1-0) are coming off a 4-1 victory last night over the Victoria Royals. Jake Elmer scored twice, including the Teddy Bear Toss goal, while Ty Prefontaine also scored a pair to help the ‘Canes to the victory. The win was the ‘Canes fifth of their last six games and improved their home record to 8-6-1-0 on the year. The Hurricanes enter play tonight on a three-game road winning streak.
The Oil Kings (6-18-2-0) earned a 4-1 victory over the Prince Albert Raiders on their Teddy Bear Toss night. Davis Koch scored twice for Edmonton in the win. The victory snapped a 12-game losing streak for the Oil Kings that dated by to October 20th. The Oil Kings are 4-9-1-0 at ROGERS Place this season.
Tonight will be the third of six meetings on the season between the ‘Canes and the Oil Kings; the teams have split the season series so far this season with the home team winning both games.
