GAME DAY: Hurricanes Begin 3-in-3 Against Oil Kings
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a three-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Edmonton Oil Kings at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm in the first of a three-in-three weekend.
The Hurricanes (22-10-4-4) earned a 3-2 victory over the Kootenay Ice on Wednesday at the ENMAX Centre. Dylan Cozens, Jordy Bellerive and Jake Elmer scored the goals in the winning cause. The ‘Canes improved to 13-2-2-2 in their last 19 games as they remain first in the Central Division.
The Oil Kings (21-14-4-3) are in a second-place tie in the Central Division with the Red Deer Rebels. Edmonton has been idle since suffering a 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes on Sunday at Rogers Place. The Oil Kings will add forward Josh Williams into their line-up after a deadline day trade yesterday from the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight.
Tonight will be the fifth of six meetings between the two teams this season and the first of two this weekend as the teams will wrap up the regular-season series on Sunday in Edmonton.

VS. OIL KINGS: Tonight will be the fifth of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Oil Kings. The ‘Canes are 2-2-0-0 through the first four games against Edmonton this year having earned a 5-2 win last Sunday at Rogers Place. Tonight will be the first of two meetings this weekend between the two.
