GAME DAY: Hurricanes Begin 3-in-3 Against Calgary
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin a three-in-three weekend tonight as they welcome the Calgary Hitmen at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre.
The Hurricanes (2-3-0-0) won two of three games last weekend against the Red Deer Rebels. The ‘Canes were handed a 5-1 loss on Sunday in the finale of their weekend. Logan Barlage scored the lone goal in the game while Carl Tetachuk made 30-saves in the defeat. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 1-1-0-0 record on home ice this season.
The Hitmen (2-2-1-0) ended a three-game losing streak on Sunday with a 5-4 victory against the Medicine Hat Tigers. Jackson van de Leest scored twice, including the winner, in the win while Taber-product Brayden Peters made 37-saves for his second victory of the season. Calgary is 0-1-1-0 on the road this year.
