Every month, we showcase a Hurricane player that goes above and beyond to make our community a better place. We are proud to award Blake Swetlikoff as the McCain Cane in the Community Player for the month of November.
Blake volunteered his time visiting students at Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School as well as attending a U9 Coaldale Cobras hockey practice last month. On top of that Blake offered, and took, his billet brother, Leo, to his hockey practice once Blake found out he would miss it because no one was able to drive him. Blake drove him, helped him get suited up, and hopped on the ice with the team.
Blake represents the #WHLCanes with pride when he is volunteering. We thank Blake for his contributions in our community - and his leadership both on and off the ice.
