Hitmen Sign Forward Brandon Gorzynski
The Calgary Hitmen have signed Brandon Gorzynski to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Gorzynski was drafted by Calgary in the 2022 WHL U.S. Priority Draft with their first pick, 15th overall. The product of Scottsdale Arizona, Gorzynski finished the 2022-23 season with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite 15U AAA tallying 59 points (28G, 31A) in 66 games. The forward has been with the team since training camp at the end of August and has played in all three preseason games.
“It’s a big dream of mine to play professional hockey and I think this is a great organization and a great league to do that, so I’m super excited to get started.” said Gorzynski.
