Hitmen Open Four Game Preseason This Weekend
The Calgary Hitmen open up their four-game preseason this Friday, September 8th at Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex when they welcome the Red Deer Rebels.
The Hitmen are proud to call Deerfoot Sportsplex at Siksika Nation for game one, as part of their ongoing commitment with Siksika Health Services to promote healthy lifestyles and participation in sport; and to advance inclusion between their communities. The game will include a traditional pregame ceremony and a 50/50 with proceeds going to youth internal programming. Attendees are invited to bring donations of school supplies for Siksika Children and Youth.
The team will then go on the road September 9th to face the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Enoch Recreation Centre in Enoch, AB. Calgary’s next pre-season game will be held at Tsuut’ina Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on Thursday, September 14th vs the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Seven Chiefs Sportsplex has been a second home for the Hitmen hosting multiple regular season games as well as the entire 2021 bubble season. The game will also host a 50/50 with proceed going to Tsuut’ina minor hockey.
Preseason concludes with a trip to the Peavy Mart Centrium on Friday, September 15th to play the Red Deer Rebels.
All home preseason games are free and open to the public.
