Whitfield heading to AHL

Calgary, AB – The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced assistant coach Trent Whitfield has accepted the position of assistant coach with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League. Whitfield joined the Hitmen in July 2015.

The Hitmen would like to thank Trent for his time with the organization and wish him and his family well in Providence.

The search will now begin for an immediate replacement for Whitfield. Interested candidates are encouraged to forward a resume to [email protected].
