TRADE: Calgary Hitmen Acquire Landon Amrhein From Portland Winterhawks
Calgary, AB – The Calgary Hitmen have acquired the rights to 2008-born prospect Landon Amrhein from the Portland Winterhawks in exchange for 2007-born prospect Sam Spehar.
The 6’4, 185lb forward from Celina Texas was drafted 17th overall in the 2023 WHL U.S. Priority Draft by the Portland Winterhawks. Playing his past four seasons with the Dallas Stars Elite program, the forward is coming off an impressive season registering 92 points (29g, 63a) in 38 games with the Stars Elite 16U AAA team.
